Rodolfos Stamatiou wins the blitz

The Rodos Palace International Open blitz tournament concluded on Sunday 30 August with 36 players. Seven rounds produced strong, closely fought games throughout the event.

The race for first place remained open until the end and was decided in the seventh and final round. FM Rodolfos Stamatiou emerged as the winner.

China's WIM Zhao Yunqing finished second, followed by her compatriot Du Yuxin in third place.
